Jordon Gilmore, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Mechanical Engineering, Clemson University

Welcome!
Here is a bit about me...
I am a Postodoctoral Fellow in Mechanical Engineerging at Clemson University, where I am a part of the Multiscale Manufacturing Lab (M2L). I have a PhD in Bioengineering from Clemson, and a background in Electrical Engineering, which remains a significant part of my research interest. Currently, my research interest include low-cost medical diagnostics, lab-on-chip, microfluidics, 3D scaffold development, , and medical textiles.
I also have significant Engineering Education interest consisting of K-12 STEM career promotion and research identity development in undergraduate students.
I have a passion for teaching and the development of students. In coordination with my Engineering Education research interests, I hope to move students from thinking like "engineering students" to thinking like "engineers".
If you have any questions for me regarding my research or my teaching philosophy, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks for visiting!
